Let‘s start with the most important question: what‘s the point of landing on Spotify on Modus Mio, New Music Friday or Electronic Rising? Reach, revenue and even more reach. This can be summed up very briefly. Because large playlists have millions of listeners who would otherwise never hear your song. And as soon as the clicks go up, you as a band become more “interesting” for the algorithm. So two things happen with this.
