When it comes to playlists, many people first think of the lists that are put together by the respective platforms themselves. In fact, these so-called “editorial playlists” enjoy a clear priority over the “user-generated” ones. Nevertheless, it is precisely the breadth of the streaming ecosystem that makes the concept so effective. From style-oriented playlists to functional ones (dinner music, sounds for sports and fitness) and compilations aimed at specific moods (melancholy, celebration), there is always the right mix for everyone and every occasion.
