MF PLASTIC BANNER SELLS WELL

It was difficult keeping up with events on Saturday, March 23rd, when at least four significant tractor sales took place in the UK and Ireland, all on the same day! In Presteigne, Powys, McCartney’s was staging the WJ Taylor & Sons retirement sale. These people were former MF dealers – notably during the 100-200 Series era – and had retained all the information, records and much else besides from those days in the company stores.

It all went under the hammer, including a large, plastic Massey Ferguson banner that after significant bidding, finally sold for an amazing £3,300. In addition, two 100 Series update manuals went for £600 and £500, respectively, and a host of other parts
