Some people are just meant to be parents. And Mackenzie Hopkins, 24, was one of them.
Giving birth to her little girl, now six, at just 20, Mackenzie took to motherhood just like a duck takes to water.
She ‘came into her own’, Mackenzie’s Dad Shannon had said.
Her daughter had really been her blessing.
And despite being a young mum, Mackenzie had a fantastic support system in the way of her family.
Referring to Mackenzie as ‘Mickey’, her family described her as an incredibly kind, caring and loving person.
Mackenzie was a ray of sunshine who brightened every room.
But she was also a fiercely devoted mother.
Nothing was more important to Mackenzie than filling her daughter’s life with love and joy.
