THE Paris Olympics, better-known as the Paris Summer Games 2024, have opened more questions about the interference of politics in sport.

The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (Anoca), representing more than 50 individual national Olympic associations across the continent, has taken umbrage at the continued discrimination against the Russian and Belarusian athletes in world sport.
