Young people are eager for change as polls draw closer

Elections

AS of January 2024, almost 27 million citizens were registered to vote in the general elections in May. Of these, the majority were women, at 14.9 million, while men accounted for around 12 million of the registrations.

In all nine provinces, women took the lead in the number of registered voters.

The Sunday Independent spoke to a range of young men on whether they were registered to vote, and the reason behind their decision.
