MERSEYSIDE & CHESHIRE had six champions crowned at the finals of the National Amateur Championships at Derby Arena.

Everton Red Triangle welterweight Lucas Biswana was one of the six celebrating. The 19-year-old edged a 3-2 split decision win over Ellis Panter, a result that left the 18-year-old from Burton Park shocked. The decision could have gone either way.
