ONE OF THESE DISCS

As the May issue of Uncut (Take 325) was delivered to me this morning, I was reminded to fulfil my promise to myself that I would write to thank your colleague Tom Pinnock for his impeccable work in compiling the covermount CD that came with the April issue of Uncut (Take 324) – One Of These Days. It was a belter!

Every track was a standout in its own way, but the sequencing was just perfect. It felt like a strong, cohesive selection that took the listener on a bit of a journey, and I loved it.

As a producer and presenter of a weekly music-based show on my local radio station, I try to do the same for any listeners who might be adventurous enough to tune in, and the regulars often commend the ‘flow’ I build in. Mr Pinnock’s work was exemplary in this instance, and I vacate
