Rows 1, 3, 5 and 7 (RS): Using yarn A, knit.

Rows 2, 4, 6 and 8 (WS): Using yarn A, purl.

Row 9: Using yarn C, K1, P1, (Sl 1, P1) to last st, K1.

Row 10: Using yarn C, P1, (K1, P1) to end.

BACK

Using 4.5mm needles and yarn B, cast on 113 sts.

Rib row 1 (RS): K1 (P1, K1) to end.

Rib row 2: P1, (K1, P1) to end.

Work last 2 rows another 5 times.

Change to 5mm needles.

Work Rows 1-10 of Pattern Stitch 9 times.
