I TEND to read Cage & Aviary Birds from cover to cover. To illustrate the point, here are a couple of articles that have struck a chord with me. The first was Dave Brown’s in the February 28 issue, where he urged us to help keep our old friends in the hobby. The second was Alan Marchant’s article on March 6, in which he commented that fanciers looking to buy stock often had unrealistic expectations about what a seasoned fancier can part with. They thought the cream of the birdroom was for sale.
