JONATHAN'S THE PRIDE OF THE COUNTY DOWN!

At the age of 24, Jonathan King has a very busy life. From Monday to Friday he's completing the fourth year of a law degree at Trinity College, Dublin, travelling home to his parents’ house in Dundrum, County Down, by train to Belfast, and on by road, on Friday evenings. Then, on Saturday mornings, in what he describes as the highlight of his week, he reports for volunteer duty on his beloved Downpatrick & County Down Railway.

On Sundays, he heads back to Dublin and, as a steam man first and foremost, admits that he almost enjoys heading southwards on the diesel-hauled ‘Enterprise’ train!
