This year’s London Marathon on 21 April will be Jenni Falconer’s ninth. The 48-year-old presenter and Smooth Breakfast radio host finds freedom in pounding the pavement – so much so that she has her own running podcast, RunPod. And now, for her first book, Runner’s High: How to Squeeze the Joy From Every Step, she’s sharing everything she’s learnt to inspire and encourage others to take up the sport.

Here, Jenni, mum to 12-year-old Ella with husband James Midgley, shares her best advice for bouncing back from injury and reveals where you’ll find her post-marathon.
