After 23 years of presenting on breakfast TV and radio, Jenni Falconer is not fazed by early starts. “I’m so good at going to sleep, all I need to do is recline,” the 47-year-old Glaswegian says.

Something that definitely gets the Smooth Radio presenter out of bed in the morning is her passion for running. She is aiming to complete next month’s London marathon – the ninth time she’s run the distance – having been forced to pull out with an injury last year.

She also hosts her own RunPod podcast, which has featured guests including Olympic athletes Dame Kelly Holmes and Eilish McColgan, and co-founded the award-winning Kollo Health liquid marine collagen supplement, which she takes before each run.
