SHE spends most of her time in her pink-painted Wendy house in the backyard, doing admin work on her various family businesses while her beloved labrador cross, Zoë, lies at her feet. Lynn Emdin has dubbed the little house her She Shed and it’s her safe place – her haven where she can be 100% herself. But there’s more to it than that: it’s also the home of her precious porcelain doll collection – all 1 000 of them.
“I’m a mother of four sons. Sometimes I think I started the collection because I didn’t have daughters,” Lynn (59) jokes.
