‘Savvy design was key to make the space work'

WHO LIVES HERE? I’m Amy Davies, an interior and lifestyle content creator (@littlehouseinlondon). My home is a 122-year-old Victorian, three-bedroom, mid-terrace home in East London.

WHAT WAS UPDATED? We stripped the room back and drew up a plan for the new layout. I called in a professional to help me design the perfect space. I wanted to enjoy cooking again, and make the most of the light at the back of the house.

WHY THE CHANGE? The kitchen was dated, dull and almost unsafe. I had no real storage or organisation, which meant doing anything in the kitchen became a real chore.
