BEN BAMBER

THEY SAY that in life you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone, and that was very much the case for Ben Bamber’s rugby career.

A rugby league convert, Bamber signed for Bristol Bears at 18 but two shoulder reconstructions by the time he was 19 halted his union progress and left him bereft of game time. Eventually, he grew tired of the grind and jacked it in.
