SANDF murder-suicide a symptom of GBVF crisis

A South African male soldier who shot and killed a woman soldier believed to be his lover while they were deployed in the DRC on a mission has raised the alarm among gender-based violence and femicide activists about a GBVF crisis.

The duo were part of a contingent of the SANDF personnel deployed in the DRC as part of the UN Organisation Stabilisation Mission.
