2005 CONCORDE CHARISMA 880F
It is over a year since we set our eyes on her, a 2005 Concorde Charisma 880F with a lot of bells and whistles. Now we have experienced using her through all seasons and multiple terrains we know we made the right purchase for our requirements.
There wasn’t any real competition during the scouting and buying process; despite this being our first motorhome, we knew exactly what we wanted and needed, as it was to become our full-time home for the next few years as we travelled the world overland. We reckoned on doing between 15,000 and 20,000 miles per annum; she already had just over 100,000 on the odometer, but this was not a concern as we knew a Mercedes engine could cope with more.
FULL-TIMING NEEDS
We needed an A-class, no question, that could cope with off-grid living and provide a comfortable environment for two people, and this model with both a fixed and overcab bed, a dividing door making two completely separate rooms, air-con, Alde central heating, a 200-litre water tank, and a generator ticked all the boxes.
