Triumph Tina This is now

It doesn’t take long in Martin Gladwell’s company to realise that he has a complicated relationship with this Triumph Tina. “Over the years I’ve had most British bikes,” he began. “Triumphs, BSAs, Nortons, you name it. More recently I’ve got interested in older BMWs and I’m currently resurrecting a VW engine trike, but all anyone wants to talk about is this bloody Triumph Tina.”

By way of explanation, although Martin is responsible for restoring the Tina and its day-to-day maintenance, he isn’t the owner. That privilege belongs to his wife who is another British bike enthusiast, and – you’ve probably guessed it by now – is called Tina.

“What on earth have you bought that for?”
