Home is a structure that provides us with accommodation, but for many of us it's much more than that; it's our sanctuary, a place where we feel happy and secure.

Even if our home no longer provides the space or layout we need, many of us are still reluctant to up sticks and move. For some, renovating an existing home to make it a better fit is the solution. But this is not always possible or practical.
