Auto Sales

Nationwide auto sales rose 11.1 percent year on year to nearly 4.03 million units in the first two months of this year, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

The country’s auto output during the January-February period increased 8.1 percent year on year to 3.92 million units. Passenger car output and sales stood at 3.36 million units and 3.45 million units, up 7.9 percent and 10.6 percent year on year, respectively.

Commercial vehicle output surged 9 percent year on year to 560,000 units, while commercial vehicle sales went up 14.1 percent year on year to 575,000 units.
