How Often Do You Buy a New ‘Red Book?’

I ran across an interesting Coin Talk (cointalk.com) thread recently that began with the question: “How Often Do You Buy a Red Book?” I got my first “Red Book” (A Guide Book of United States Coins) back in the 1950s, and I have a mostly complete collection of them beginning then. I also picked up a modern copy of the first Red Book.
