Getting dressed to the nines, there was one thing on our minds for the evening – a night of ballroom dancing.
With my wife Jean, now 74, somehow convincing me to join her on the dance floor, every single cruise that we went on together, we’d end up dancing the night away.
Something that Jean really did enjoy more than anything.
So much so, over the years, using money that had previously been used to pay off the mortgage, we’d been on 23 glorious cruises covering the world.
We have now been married for over 40 years after meeting in a nightclub back in 1982 – tying the knot within 12 months!
Combining Jean’s love for ballroom, going on various caravan holidays with family and training as a bodybuilder myself, we had a life that felt like it was always on the go.
