TV THE REGIME
We’ve always thought of her as a queen, and now we can see Academy Award winner Kate Winslet as a dictator slowly losing her grip on reality and the imaginary Central European country over which she rules. The six-episode satirical comedy takes place within the palace walls over the course of a year as the regime of Chancellor Elena Vernham (Winslet) begins to unravel. Adding to her list of woes are her hypochondriac tendencies, not to mention her foul mouth. Also stars Hugh Grant and Martha Plimpton. (Now streaming on Binge)
