What drew you to this action series?
It appealed to me as something different – something I have never done before. It’s a genre I didn’t fully understand until now. It’s very muscular, very exciting and intense. It’s espionage, and it’s very exciting for me and, I hope, the audience.
Tell us about Special Ops: Lioness…
It’s based on the work of real military women working around the world for the CIA ... working undercover in extremely dangerous situations. Zoe Saldana is a “Lioness” and this follows her story and the difficulty she has balancing her job with her life as a mother.
