I KNOW HIS WISHES

THEY had talked about getting married and both agreed they wanted a small, intimate wedding. The possibility of them having children was also on the cards. Jeandre de Beer and Adriaan Holtzhausen were working towards their dream. But it all came crashing down when Adriaan died last June after suffering a heart attack in his sleep.

Instead of planning their wedding, 27-year-old Jeandre from Pretoria had to plan his partner’s funeral. And to honour Adriaan’s final wishes, Jeandre arranged to scatter his ashes at Palm Beach in KwaZulu-Natal.

“It was his favourite beach. He said it’s very peaceful and natural and it wasn’t commercialised,” Jeandre tells YOU.

But his plan has been put on hold as he finds
