While there’s much guff and hot air spouted from the PR departments of machinery manufacturers around the potential for electrification in agricultural equipment, to date there’s not much evidence of it out working in the field. It’s a subject that is clearly frustrating implement makers, a good number of whom have put considerable time and money into developing kit off the back of tractor brands repeatedly launching and re-launching ‘electrified’ concepts that are as yet to make it onto the production line.
