PANORAMA INQUIRY ON THE HORIZON

THE long-awaited council inquiry into misfiring bus ticket software which landed dozens of Fulchester bus drivers in court – and in some cases prison – over a 6 month period is to begin tomorrow. Testimony will be heard from boffins, business-chiefs and banged-up drivers seeking justice.

The hi-tech system, named Panorama, was developed by then-leading local technology giant Fulch-Its-U Ltd, and was designed to keep track of money handed over and make sure it tallied with tickets issued. It was delivered to the transport company GoFulchester in 2002 and installed across the company’s fleet
