Typically, there are two reasons why you might need to know what type of battery is fitted to your motorcycle: you have a problem that needs fixing, such as a flat battery; or you want to avoid problems (such as a flat battery). And both are very valid at this point in the year, when a bike’s battery has either sat unused during winter, or has had a very tough time with cold temperatures and a heavy load during winter riding.
