Friendship BONDS

aolo Moschino, Philip Vergeylen, and Bunny Williams all cite their longtime friendship as the basis for their successful business partnership. In speaking of the newly forged collaboration between Paolo Moschino (Vendome Press); they also mention a client in Paris whom Williams generously recommended to Vergeylen for design work. “That indicated to me a level of kindness and trust that I find unbelievable,” says Moschino. The three Moschino showrooms in London now serve as the exclusive distributor for Williams’s ever-growing line of furnishings, including her Bamboo Chest and Small Brushstroke Lamp (left) and her Pheasant Feather Lamp, Marcus Side Table, and Keller Bed (above). As for her eponymous collection, Williams says, “I always say I started Bunny Williams Home because I couldn’t find enough drinks tables. Each item in the collection has a special thought behind it—representing something I’ve been inspired by, coveted, or own.” She has entrusted Moschino and Vergeylen to market her creations throughout Europe. Sounding like a true friend, Moschino adds, “Our collaboration is something that we will both work hard to make successful. It allows Paolo Moschino Ltd to significantly expand our product offering to our clients with high-level lighting, furniture, and accessories, while it also significantly expands the distribution of the Bunny Williams products. So, it is beneficial for both companies.”
