New gear LEAD OUT

4iiii Precision 3+ Pro power meter

£949.99 (preinstalled on Shimano Ultegra R8100 crankset), 4iiii.com

Crank arms are among the best places to mount a power meter because they offer good accuracy as well as true dual-leg power measurement, but there is often a cost associated. This is because in many cases you have to buy an entire new crankset to get the power meter.

Canadian company 4iiii does sell preassembled power meter cranksets such as this one, but to save a bit of money it will also factory-install its power meters on your existing crankset, with a claimed turnaround time of just a few days.
