A RACETRACK wouldn’t be the first place we’d choose to launch a 2.5-tonne SUV, so we admire the confidence of Jaguar Land Rover, because that’s where it let us loose in the new Range Rover Sport SV. As it turns out, that confidence was entirely justified.

That will come as a surprise to anyone who experienced the last Range Rover Sport SVR. It had a big personality, but lacked the sharpness or sophistication to be mentioned in the same breath as the Porsche
