Pulling up in the car park, Hernan Leiva, 58, arrived for another shift at the local Target.
Working as a janitor in the American superstore at Bailey’s Crossroads in Fairfax County, Virginia, Hernan was known by his friends and family for his hardworking attitude.
Born and raised in the rural El Salvador, from a young age, Hernan strived to provide for his family.
And he always did so with a smile on his face – after all, another day sweeping floors meant more financial stability for his beloved family, even if it wasn’t the most glamorous job.
But Hernan was a family man who always wanted the best for his loving wife Esperanza and his two sons Marlin and Jesse.
Hopping out of his car, Hernan prepared for
