Making a return after 38 years - Nene Valley's Danish delight!

A CLASSIC Danish locomotive which had not steamed for 38 years has made its comeback into traffic on the NeneValley Railway.

DSB (Danske Statsbaner – Danish State Railways) F class 0-6-0T No. 656 – nicknamed‘Tinkerbell’because of the sound it makes with its fitted shunting bell – was built by Frichs of Aarhus in 1949, to an Otto Busse design of 1893.
