Bluebell Pullman conversion for accessible fine dining

NEWS

THE conversion of parlour brake third Car No. 54 at the Bluebell Railway will provide the first-ever accessible Pullman dining car when it enters service in the spring on the line’s luxury‘Golden Arrow’services.

Originally built as a Kitchen Third by Claytons in 1923, it was rebuilt into its brake configuration in 1937; when went on to see use on the services such as the‘Devon Belle’and ‘South Wales Pullman’, ending up as part of the spare set for BR’s‘Blue Pullman’trains.
