It seems you can’t turn on any form of social media these days without being bombarded with stories of special ‘barn finds’, or crusty discoveries from deep in a forest / in a remote desert / up a mountain etc. So much so, I think it’s fair to say we’re all starting to take the majority of such stories with a pinch of salt, or at least become a bit blasé about them.

Sure, there are some genuine discoveries still being made, and the good ones will always make for exciting viewing, but how about a car with under 2,000 miles on the clock, rolling out of a garage under its own power, looking like it just came off the showroom floor? That’s the stuff of dreams, surely, and is exactly what happened on a summer’s day in Minnesota in 2022.
