Identity crisis

From time to time, you might see this little blue tin VW convertible in toy collections, at toy shows or for sale on online auction sites. Invariably, when you do they will be referred to as a Hebmüller Volkswagen convertible, VW Type 14A. However, after we’ve finished describing the details of this VW, you might – like me – come to the conclusion it is more of a rendition of a Karmann Cabriolet, a VW Type 15A, instead.
