One of the most well known bears from literature is Winnie-the-Pooh. English author A.A. Milne wrote the stories about the in 1925. Milne went on to write four volumes of stories featuring Winnie-the-Pooh. In the 1960s, Disney released several animated productions featuring their version of Pooh and his friends.
