High levels of E coli hinder UPL’s clean-up efforts

UPL remains committed to continued rehabilitation efforts after heavy rains, amid E coli challenges.

It has been just over two-and-a-half years since the violent attack on UPL’s leased Cornubia facility took place during wider unrest in KwaZulu-Natal in July 2021. Since then, UPL has committed enormous time and resources to the extensive process of rehabilitating the affected environment.
