February marks the end of the Australian cherry season but there are ways we can enjoy this year’s pick for longer, according toFood Director, Fran Abdallaoui. “Place pitted cherries on a baking tray in a single layer and freeze until frozen,” she instructs. “Transfer to a container or snap-lock bags – they will last for up to six months. Frozen cherries are best used in baked goods, smoothies, jams and chutneys.” Check out for loads of easy recipes.
