□ A 6mm circular needle, 100cm long (or similar, to pick up stitches for button band)
□ 4 buttons, 25mm diameter
TENSION
10.5 stitches and 16 rows to measure 10×10cm (4×4in) over st st using 9mm needles 9.5 stitches and 15 rows to measure 10×10cm (4×4in) over dip stitch using 9mm needles
ABBREVIATIONS
K1long Bring yarn to back, insert needle into stitch 2 rows below next stitch and knit 1, drop unworked stitch above
