Notes Unless otherwise specified, use the cable cast on for all pieces and use mattress stitch to sew seams.
When working colourwork using the intarsia method, use a separate end of yarn for each colour section and cross yarns at colour changes to prevent holes.
AMBULANCE BODY
Wind off a small bobbin of Yarn A before you begin, or locate both ends of the ball.
Cast on 30 sts using 2.75mm needles and Yarn A. Start at base.
Rows 1 and 2 Starting on a RS knit row, work in st st.
Row 3 K1, (kfb, PM, kfb, K10, kfb, PM, kfb) twice, K1. [38 sts]
Row 4 (Purl to marker, slm) 4 times, purl to end.
Row 5 (Knit to 1 st before marker, kfb, sm, kfb) 4 times, knit to end. [8 sts inc’d]
Row 6 Rep Row 4.
Row 7 Rep Row 5, removing markers. [54 sts]
Rows 8 to 17 Starting on a WS purl row, work in st st, and on Row 17 place locking markers in the 4th and 31st sts.
Work the windows using intarsia method.
