The pattern uses two strands of yarn held together throughout.

BACK

Using 3.25mm needles, cast on 106 (118:130:142:150:162) sts.

Row 1 (RS): K2, *P2, K2; rep from * to end.

Row 2: *P2, K2; rep from * to last 2 sts, P2.

These 2 rows set rib.

Cont in rib as set for 7 (7:7:8:8:8) cm, ending with WS facing for next row.

Next row: Rib to end, inc 1 (1:0:0:1:1) st and dec 0 (0:1:1:0:0) st at end of row.

107 (119:129:141:151:163) sts.

Change to 3.75mm needles.

Row 1 (RS): Starting with st 1 (6:1:6:1:6), work row 1 as set on chart, working 22-st rep 4 (5:5:6:6:7) times across row and
