The Watts family have been fenland farmers based in Deeping St Nicholas since the 1800s. Nicholas Watts, the current custodian of the family’s farming interests, is a well-known and highly respected local character who is keen to preserve and promote local heritage. In 2006 he was awarded an MBE forfarming practices.
