Radio and TV presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford is launching her own haircare line Clean Curls, with six products – each created for curls and coils – available at Superdrug from 12 February. Here, the 40-year-old mum to daughters Summer, three (above, with Sarah-Jane), and Bonnie, two, shares the backstory to her new brand.
Why did you want to create a haircare line for curls, Sarah-Jane?
“I’d been relaxing my hair since 13 right through to my late 30s – so a good 25 years – and and my body went into shutdown. I needed to look at my lifestyle and what was within my remit of control. I went vegan, although I am not as strict now, and I stopped drinking alcohol. It was a wake-up call to clean up my life.
