GREAT BRITAIN’S Olympic hopefuls will be in action in the World Boxing Cup in Sheffield next week.

World Boxing, the governing body set up to keep amateur boxing in the Olympics, are running the event that’s held at the English Institute of Sport between Wednesday and Saturday (January 17-20).

It will be the second such event organised by World Boxing, following the tournament held in Cologne in October that attracted 111 boxers from 15 countries.

GB Boxing came home with three golds after Taylor Bevan, Charley Davison and Elise Glynn were victorious.
