YARN

• 65 m 14 ply Chunky 100% wool in white
• 65 m 14 ply Chunky 100% wool in fawn
• 65 m 14 ply Chunky 100% wool in brown
• 120 m 14 ply Chunky 100% wool in grey
• Stool with 33 cm square top

NEEDLES AND TOOLS

• 5.00mm knitting needles or
• 5.00mm circular needle, 100 cms long
• Wool sewing needle
• 4 stitch markers

MEASUREMENTS

Size 35 cms square across stool top 50 cms tall including foam padding

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS

kw = knitwise; as if to knit

pw = purlwise; as if to purl

ssk = slip 1 st knitwise, slip 1 st knitwise, place left needle purlwise into slipped sts in front of right needle, knit both sts together.

kfb = knit into the front and the back of the stitch before taking it off the left needle: increases 1 stitch

pick up and knit or purl = insert right needle into loop along row edges (kw or pw depending on side facing), and pull through a new loop of yarn to form a knit or purl stitch

cast off purlwise = *p2tog, return the resulting
