HIOANS ROSE TO THE OCCASION AND TURNED OUT AT last election season making their state the latest in the U.S. to approve cannabis for adult use. On Nov. 7, 2023, voters in Ohio approved Issue 2, a ballot proposal to legalize adult-use cannabis in the state. The election’s outcome made Ohio the 24th state to allow adult-use cannabis, 14 of which have done so via a public vote.
