SCHAFFER 8620-T3

Expected mid-2024 is Shäffer’s 8620-T3 with a new cab. This will be joined by the 9640 towards the end of the year with the 9660 following afterwards. Externally, the bonnet has been made smaller to provide better visibility to the back, but it is the cab, which is the main talking point, where everything is new bar the seat! The frame is 10cm wider so there is more room with a 10in touchscreen display allowing operators to select options and flick through the various assistance systems. This includes assigning functions to the two extra buttons on the new joystick such as auto-boom position or bucket shake.
