The Princely State of Sirmoor

he small Princely State of Sirmoor lies in northern India, in what is currently the southeast corner of Himachal Pradesh. Sirmoor was founded in 1616 by Raja Karam Parkash, as part of the Mughal Empire. Raja Parkash helped the Mughal emperor in conquering Srinagar in Garhwal, in which he was awarded land, expanding the Kingdom of Sirmoor.
